Prophet The Artist - “Bruce Lee”
This music video for the track titled “Bruce Lee” by Prophet The Artist sees him deliver some comical vibes, in which the highlight of the video was where he caught a bullet with his teeth. The energetic display in this music video by the young rapper from New Jersey can be compared to the bullet speed of the legendary Bruce Lee whose brutal strength and power are also visible in the hard-hitting bars of this music video. The music video also exhibits some ancient Chinese history, Prophet The Artist was surrounded in a Chinese tent by some beautiful Chinese models wearing the traditional Hanfu dress. It was all life of the party in the Chinese tent until two gangsters that seem to have a problem with the way Prophet The Artist was running the show crashed the party and shot a gun at him. “Job Done”, the gangsters thought but Prophet The Artist made sure he had the last laugh when he grinned to reveal the bullet he had caught with his teeth.
At the end of the music video, the two gangsters that attacked Prophet The Artist back at the tent were apprehended by him in the middle of a lonely street whilst they were trying to escape the scene. One gangster displayed some impressive martial arts moves as he tried to lead the offense but Prophet The Artist was clearly not in the mood for all that drama as he pulled out a gun and shot the gangster dead. The other gangster fled the scene but with the rage in the eyes of Prophet The Artist, we all know that the gangster won’t be lucky next time. Overall, it is a dark-themed based music video that catches the eye with its action-packed content. His proud lyrics in this track are personal and together with this refreshing music video, it embraces the origins of Bruce Lee beautifully. This clever music video directed by Nimi Hendrix along with Prophet The Artist’s impossibly catchy flow is a combination that will surely leave its mark on the current music scene.
