ScHoolboy Q- “Blueslides”
The return that is needed. ScHoolboy Q is back with the artistry and the bars in his latest track release of "Blueslides" from his upcoming album, "Blue Lips."
Back in his bag, Q delivers an introspective track delving into life's personal journey where obstacles and success portray lyrics of vulnerability. As the music begins, a soulful jazz harmony begins complimented by lively piano notes, and the intro of a light, ethereal voice of Lauren Santi sings, "Lover of mine/Don't you dare walk away now/Don't leave me quite so high and dry/I hope you don't leave it all inside." While the tone of the track feels distinctive, the chorus then stimulates Q's metaphoric openness: "Blue slides, I've been slidin' through your whole shit, yeah/Presidential Rollies, I took big risks, uh/We split the profit with the people, we be all lit/Top ten, not ten, bitch, we all in."
